The Kilbanes are Kate Kilbane and Dan Moses, a married musical theater writing and performing team. Their indie rock musical Weightless took the Bay Area by storm with performances at Z Space and A.C.T. before moving onto New York’s Public Theatre where it was nominated for Lucille Lortel (Best Musical), Drama Desk (Best Music), and Off-Broadway Alliance (Best New Musical) awards in 2023.

With the acrobats of Dear San Francisco taking a well-deserved break in August, Club Fugazi will still be jumping! The inaugural lineup for Club Dates: A Live Music Series at Club Fugazi includes the award-winning Indie rock band, The Kilbanes; Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr.; and the acclaimed folk-rock duo, The Bengsons. Taking place over three weekends, audiences will enjoy thrilling live music from these artists living in the intersection of theater and rock.
