Sara "Sabina" Arizmendi Fernandez

(she/her)
Sabina was born on a boat and spent her childhood learning to sail and maintain a wooden sailboat built in 1841. Homeschooled and active in the family business, she grew up perched on the rigging of the boat and cradled by the Mediterranean Sea.

Circus came to Sabina unexpectedly and completely changed the course of her life which had originally been destined to follow in the footsteps of her parents, sailors and lovers of the sea. She moved to Montreal after being accepted into the National Circus School. This move was the first time she lived in a house on land.

Sabina graduated circus school specializing in aerial silks and contortion. She has since performed with companies such as Cirque du Soleil and several productions with The 7 Fingers.
