(she/her)
was born on the big island of Hawaii. At the age of 6, Kalani became fascinated with circus arts and was encouraged to join the local community circus—Hawaii Island Community Circus Unity Project. From the very beginning, she combined her dance and theater skills with her interest in circus. At 19, Kalani moved to San Francisco where she “fell in love with circus all over again” and decided to train at École supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels. It was there that Kalani mastered the Chinese pole and a range of other circus skills. Now, at the age of 26, Kalani makes her debut with The 7 Fingers in Dear San Francisco.
