is from Wuhan, China. She started her acrobatic training in China at age 4. At the age of 9, she started touring as a solo hand-balancer with Cirque Du Soleil’s Dralion. After 5 years with Cirque du Soleil, Junru went on to win Season 4 of “China’s Got Talent,” and the same year she set a Guinness World Record for hand balancing, which she still holds today. In 2015, Junru starred in a feature film produced by China and Austria. She moved to the U.S. in 2016 and started school at Pasadena City College. In 2019, she entered the University of Southern California where she is currently finishing a degree in Film & TV Production, with a focus on cinematography and direction. During her school year, Junru starred in one UCLA thesis short, one Chapman thesis short, and one AFI thesis film, for which she won Hollywood North Film Awards for Best Performance in an International Short Film.
