Jose began his artistic career with gymnastics, dance, hand to hand, German Wheel, and hand balancing. In 2007, he joined the Colombian company LA GATA CIRKO where he met his current partner, Gabriela. The two of them began working on movement and hand to hand together. Their work together evolved and eventually they were invited to numerous renowned circus festivals around the world: CIRCUBA, Albacete, Spain, Princess Circus Saratov, Russia and Young Stage in Switzerland. In 2017, the duo joined the UK company, Zippos Circus where they were featured performers in multiple productions by Feuerwerker der Turnkunst touring throughout Germany. They then boarded Celebrity Cruises performing on four different ships around the world. For the last two years, Jose and Gabriela have portrayed the roles of Romeo and Juliet in The 7 Fingers production of “Duel Reality” now aboard two of Virgin Voyages ships and touring on land.
